Satori permits the penultimate state of consciousness, locating by extension of time, the condition of the enlightened mind: the pre-condition for the human mind to exist in an undeveloped state allows for the event known as 'satori', the attainment of enlightenment. Satori admits in its modesty and patience a collecting of remote events of thought. These events are tallied and visibly acknowledge the rate of received 'mindfulness'. A period of counting is interrupted daily by a sudden ebullition (of concentrated thought). A motor spins up a crescendo, a valve turns, and a suspension of fine filaments is disgorged into the air.
