CAFKA’s Board President Graham Whiting underlined the strengths the new members bring to the board. “CAFKA’s new directors bring strong ties to the community, fundraising skills, experience in art administration and a deep knowledge and commitment to contemporary visual art. The new board is working towards improved financial sustainability, furthering strategic goals as one of the key creative groups in the region's cultural scene, and presenting a spectacular, thought-provoking public art biennial exhibition in June 2016.”

CAFKA Board members are elected for a term of three-years and are limited to two consecutive terms. CAFKA is an artist-run non-profit organization and it’s by-laws require that 50 per cent of its governing board be comprised of artists.
