Join us for a reception with the artists of CAFKA @ The Walper 2019 on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 7 PM.

CAFKA @ The Walper 2019 is an exhibition featuring six contemporary artists whose practices are based in Southern Ontario. Works by Vessna Perunovich, Shaheer Zazai, Jordyn Stewart and Amy Lockhart will be on view from March 1 through April 2019 in the public spaces of the hotel. Every two years CAFKA - Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener and Area produces an exhibition of contemporary visual art projects in the public spaces of the Waterloo Region. Since 2001 contemporary artists from across Canada, the United States and overseas have exhibited next to some of the best local artists in the Waterloo Region. Each edition of the CAFKA biennial takes on an over-arching theme, reflecting aesthetic and conceptual issues addressed by artists in their projects.
