T-minus one week until the launch of CAFKA.16! Here're some things to look forward to over the next week.

Start your Saturday, and the launch of CAFKA.16, right. The first of CAFKA Family Days is Cardboard Creations featuring the CAFKA artist photo booth designed by Agnes Niewiadomski of KwartzLab. Find us at the Kitchener Market from 10 AM - 1 PM, $5/PWYC.

Experience CAFKA.16 with a free guided walking tour of the downtown Kitchener installations. It's going to transform the public spaces of our Region. The tour meets at Kitchener City Hall on Saturday, May 28, at 2 PM. Visit the interactive map to learn more.

You're invited to celebrate the launch of CAFKA.16 with us at the Opening Reception. Join us on Saturday, May 28, at Kitchener City Hall at 7 PM. Admission is free, no excuses. We hope to see you there!

Don't stop the fun there, get your tickets for the CAFKA.16 Artist Party. Come out on Saturday, May 28, for a night of music and creativity. Join us at Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery and Centre in the Square Members Lounge at 8 PM.

This week marks the beginning of the performances and events produced by Open Ears Festival of Music and Sound. Visit their website for more information, see their installations on our interactive map or find the full list of events here to mark your calendars.

Next Monday, May 30, is the beginning of This Could Be the Place. A week-long series of performances produced by the University of Waterloo Art Gallery and the University of Waterloo Department of Fine Arts. All performances begin at 12 PM at UW Arts Quad, more info here.
