Exotic Relics and Missing Links is constructed out of thirty-four drawings etched on glass. Each drawing is a page of a labyrinth with a hole that permits a passage from one drawing to the other. Once the viewer arrives at the hole in the drawing, the viewer can pass the thread through it to the next one. The thread unwinds from a spindle. All thirty-four drawings are presented on top of thirty-four tables with chairs in front of them. Each table follows one after the other in a row, and they form a spiral like shape. Once the viewer completes the threading of all thirty-four drawings, the end of the thread will fall to the floor and a new beginning will be provided for the next viewer. The thread is meant to be gently passed through all of the drawings and deposited into an envelop. As a result the thread will acquire the character of a document and a record will be created. Traces of reality and a traditional distinction between art and reality will be put into question.
