Encryption technologies have grown with computer power and in today's digital world it is impossible to control the movement of information around the globe. The fact that anyone on the net can easily download these instructions is proof of this. This work looks at our need to better understand the complexity of our global situation. As recent events have shown us, it is often the unseen threat that poses the most danger.

 

Boredom Research aims to create engaging digital works, developing themes and crossing boundaries between science, art and technology. Currently they are exploring the relationship between the physical and electronic world in a new media residency at Artsway, UK where they are deconstructing computer programs, converting them into physical paper based diagrams and text.
