A performance based on the theme of ritual, that will involve Digital Tabernacle, which explores the analog and digital border. The Digital Tabernacle will encourage people to lock up their (de)vices in a tabernacle and explore a moment free of digital appendages. Participants will received a prayer card and must confess their digital sins before their device is cleansed and returned.
Digital Tabernacle will take place intermittently during lunch hour (12-2 PM) in front of Kitchener City Hall from June 9 - 21. It will also take place on the night of June 21st for the Summer Lights Festival. Other evening appearances may occur if the opportunity arises and the spirit is willing.
