Join us outside of East Campus Hall at the University of Waterloo (at the entrance to UWAG) for a relaxed closing reception to celebrate all the wonderful artists, artworks and community members who made this biennial possible. CAFKA will be serving snacks, and running a non-alcoholic bar with near beer (donated by Collective Arts Brewery) and mocktails. The University of Waterloo Art Gallery will remain open until 7:00pm, specially for reception attendees, providing one last chance to see Shirin Fahimi's exhibition of II0I  I0I0 (Umm al Raml tracing the dots) alongside Brent Garbett's MFA Thesis show, New Day. New Painting. The reception be followed by a Big Ideas In Art and Culture lecture at 7:00pm, with Vanier Scholar, visual artist, activist, curator, and educator, Syrus Marcus Ware. Please see the lecture event page for more details.
